#DuaLipaIsOverParty trends after Alita theme writer made it rain on stripper

Date:

Dua Lipa, Alita theme song writer, was filmed at a strip club for a Grammys after party throwing money at female strippers. Called out for being fake feminist and cancelled by the internet.

Dua Lipa has been a staunch women rights supporter and a proud, level-headed, feminist. However, she is now the target of cancel culture because she dared, as they put it ‘sexual a woman’ by giving money to an erotic dancer.

Did you know?

“Swan Song”, a song performed by Dua Lipa, is the title track and theme song to the instant cult classic Alita: Battle Angel movie. It shares a powerful message of never giving up and fighting for what’s right, and, for the most part, the singer/songwriter has done just that.

But a lot of women around the world, some with views a little more extreme than hers, look up to her. She’s placed on a pedestal and expected to never do any wrong. But the truth is, like any of us, she is just human, and no human is perfect.

The 24-year-old English singer went to a Grammys after party which was hosted at a strip club, and, although she did not take home any awards this year (she took home 2 last year, though), she was in a great mood and good spirits. She playfully ‘made it rain’ on a twerking erotic dancer and it was caught on film and shared on the internet… and some people are outraged.

#DuaLipaIsOverParty starting trending on social media after the video was shared and some accused her of being a ‘fake feminist’ who ‘sexualises women’.

The video was first shared on Instagram by Lil Agosx with a caption saying, “what a good example Dua Lip sexualizing women but well after says she’s a feminist.”

After the video went viral many took to Twitter to show support for the singer under the hashtag #DuaLipaIsOverParty.
