Ethan Klein is back on Twitter with fake parody account

Date:

Ethan Klein defies Elon Musk and creates fake parody account “h3h3producitons” to evade ban and get back on Twitter.

Ethan Klein, host of the H3 Podcast, was permanently banned for impersonating Chief Twit Elon Musk and spreading false information about the tech billionaire. He is currently using a bogus parody account “h3h3producitons” to circumvent his permanent suspension.

Last week Ethan Klein changed his Twitter user name and profile picture to imitate the site’s new owner, Elon Musk. Thousands of people were tricked by Klein’s tweets as the controversial podcast presenter had a verified account making him privy of the blue verified badge.

While impersonating Elon Musk, Klein made controversial tweets and peddled conspiracy theories that the Tesla and Space X CEO visited Epstein’s island.

“Even though Jeffery Epstein committed horrible crimes, I do still miss him on nights like this for his warmth and comradery. Rest in peace old friend,” Klein tweeted.

The 37-year-old influencer then shared a photo of Musk with Epstein’s friend and business associate Ghislaine Maxwell, bolstering the conspiracy notion that the two were close pals.

Ethan was permanently suspended for violating Twitter’s terms of service by abusing the verified badge and impersonating Twitter officials. While parody accounts are permitted on Twitter, the rule specifies that the user must make this apparent not just in the profile’s bio but also after the username.

Ethan altered his banner to a poorly-drawn graphic that said the account was a parody, but neglected to update his username or profile’s bio. Due to the fact that Klein’s account was verified and was never a parody account, it was apparent that Klein’s actions had malicious intent.

Ethan Klein has returned to Twitter with a parody account of himself, which he has shared with his admirers and followers. He mocks Elon Musk by bragging about using a so-called loophole in the platform’s parody account policy in order to return. He has amassed 10,000 followers in just a few days under his new name, “h3h3producitons.”

“Nice try b*tch,” Klein tweeted under the hashtag #elonmusk.

Fans quickly realised that the new account was Ethan Klein’s attempt to evade the suspension. The supposed parody account uploaded never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage and photographs. Additionally, it was noted that nothing about the account resembled a spoof.

Regardless, the new account does not adhere to Twitter’s rules and criteria for parody accounts, as Ethan Klein forgot to indicate in his handle that the account is a parody.

Per the platform’s terms of service, Ethan Klein is not only evading his ban, but he is also violating the term’s for misleading and deceptive identities.
