The plot to ruin his career has been foiled! Marilyn Manson’s former accuser, Ashley Morgan Smithline, admits to being manipulated into false accusations by Evan Rachel Wood.

Marilyn Manson’s career as a musician and actor has been tarnished by numerous accusations of sexual and physical abuse. The shocking allegations were made public by a number of women, including actress Evan Rachel Wood, who accused Manson of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.

One of Manson’s former accusers, Ashley Morgan Smithline, accused the singer of forcibly raping her while cutting her with a swastika-emblazoned knife and shoving his fist in her mouth during sex. She also claimed that she was pressured by Evan Rachel Wood and her associates to make the accusations. Smithline appeared on national television to discuss her allegations and filed a lawsuit against Manson, which was dismissed earlier this year after she failed to find new legal counsel.

However, Smithline has now changed her story and has claimed that the accusations were part of a “twisted manipulation scheme” orchestrated by Wood and her associates. In a legal filing obtained by Page Six, Smithline alleges that she was asked to participate in group meetings with others who claimed to be “victims” of Manson, including Wood.

During these meetings, Smithline claims that she was asked if she had been “whipped, chained, tied up, branded, cut, assaulted while sleeping, beaten, or raped” by Manson. She responded that this did not happen to her and that it was not her experience. However, Wood allegedly told her that just because she couldn’t remember those things didn’t mean that it didn’t happen, alleging it was possible she had “repressed” memories due to her alleged trauma.

Smithline claims that she felt manipulated by Wood and her associates, and allowed Wood’s girlfriend, Illma Gore, to draft and post a statement on her Instagram account that contained false accusations against Manson, including violence and non-consensual sexual activity in their brief relationship, and that she had repressed memories of the same. Smithline has since apologized to Manson and expressed that she has no intention of refiling any lawsuit against him.

It’s important to note that Smithline’s case was dismissed earlier this year after she failed to find new legal counsel, and the allegations made by her and other women have yet to be proven in a court of law. Manson’s attorney, Howard King, has described Smithline’s new claims as “false and inconsistent with prior statements and actions,” and suggested that Smithline is only making these claims now because she is no longer receiving financial support from Wood and her associates.

Despite the accusations, Marilyn Manson has continued to release music and tour. His latest album, “We Are Chaos,” was released in 2020, and he recently completed a tour of Europe. Manson’s fans have remained fiercely loyal, and many have expressed support for him on social media.

The accusations made against Manson are part of a larger conversation about the treatment of women in the music industry and beyond. The #MeToo movement has brought to light the stories of many women who have experienced abuse and harassment at the hands of powerful men, and has sparked a larger conversation about consent, boundaries, and power dynamics.

While the truth about the accusations made against Manson may never be fully known, it’s clear that the conversation about abuse and harassment is far from over. It’s important that we continue to listen to and believe survivors of abuse, while also respecting the rights of the accused to a fair trial and due process. In the end, justice should be the ultimate goal, for both the accused and the accusers.

It’s a shame that Manson’s image and reputation have been unjustly damaged due to a group of individuals’ twisted plot. We can all breathe a sigh of relief now that justice has been served and Marilyn Manson’s name has been cleared.
