Real giant mutant mosquito looks like it’s from Fall Out New Vegas

Date:

Looks like the disease spreading bloodsuckers are evolving into some super-mutant mosquitoes. They look an awful lot like The Cazadors from Fallout New Vegas.

A terrifying discovery was made in Argentina last week when someone found a mosquito about 10 times the size of a regular one. “The Cazadors from Fallout New Vegas are real. This universe is a simulation,” the Human Events managing editor joked.

Did you know?

An Argentinian with the social media alias ‘Ezequiel Lobo’ posted a picture of the super-sized mosquito last Tuesday.

The man identified the mysterious and terrifying insect as a real giant mutant mosquito. “Look at the size of the mosquito that just came in through my window. He came in like a champion, my mother panicked and sprayed it with Raid. I haven’t found anything similar online. Either it’s Chernobyl’s new evolution or I just found out that I am in Jumanji,” Lobo jokes on social media.

Ian Miles Cheong, managing editor at Human Events, compared the insect to creature found in the popular role-playing videogame Fallout New Vegas.

Cazadores are mutated insects found in the Mojave Wasteland, Big MT, Zion Canyon and Utah in Fallout New Vegas.

Although unconfirmed, expert Michael H. Reiskind believes this giant mosquito to be a Psorophora ciliata. They usually appear after flooding and their bite can cause severe pain.

However, they do not usually carry disease so they only pose a risk those who are allergic.
