This GTA VI Character Menu Looks Real—But It’s a Fan Concept

A new GTA VI character menu is doing the rounds, and at a glance it looks polished enough to have fallen straight out of Rockstar’s capture folder. It has Lucia front and centre, a pink-and-charcoal interface, separate profiles for her and Jason, and enough stat bars to make a spreadsheet feel underdressed. There is just one important catch: it is fan-made.

The image was created as a concept edit by VideoTech and shared by Ötesi Oyunculuk on X, where it is also labelled as made with AI. It is not a screenshot or official menu reveal from Rockstar Games.

What makes it interesting is the real information underneath it. Australian creator TGG recently visited Rockstar North for a sanctioned preview and later described a dedicated character section containing Jason and Lucia’s models, individual Criminal Profiles and their relationship status. The mock-up imagines what that description could look like; the exact layout is the artist’s invention.

What the GTA VI character menu reportedly contains

According to TGG’s account of roughly three hours at Rockstar North, the menu lets players check each protagonist’s Criminal Profile rather than reducing both characters to one shared morality score. The system reportedly tracks the kind of criminal each becomes—controlled and professional at one end, needlessly destructive at the other.

That distinction matters. Jason could apparently keep a clean professional profile while Lucia becomes Leonida’s human-shaped insurance claim, or vice versa. TGG also said the profile can reach an extreme, permanently shattered state if the player pushes far enough. Rockstar has not publicly detailed every consequence, so claims about specific endings or mission locks are still guesswork.

The relationship section is similarly more nuanced than a simple romance bar. TGG reported that Jason and Lucia can remain partners in crime without being pushed into a love story, while small choices—dates, messages and time spent together—shape their bond. That fits Rockstar’s official description of the pair as two people forced to rely on each other after an easy score goes wrong.

The fan concept gets the idea right, not the details

The concept’s strongest choice is giving Jason and Lucia separate pages while keeping their relationship visible beside them. It immediately explains Rockstar’s big design trick: GTA VI is not merely switching between two bodies, but tracking two personalities and the mess they create together.

However, almost every precise detail in the image should be treated as decorative. The 45 per cent relationship score, trust and loyalty bars, fitness percentage, focus ability, health number, money totals and top-level tabs have not been shown by Rockstar. In fact, reports from the preview say the relationship and Criminal Profile systems are expressed through states rather than constantly wobbling percentage meters.

That makes the mock-up a useful thought experiment rather than a preview you can navigate with your eyes. Its “Professional Criminal” label echoes the reported system, but the 96 per cent professionalism score is pure fan flourish. The same goes for the visible GTA Online and Photo Mode tabs—both perfectly believable places for a fan designer to go, neither confirmed by this image. We have already looked at what Rockstar may be building beyond the current GTA Online, but this artwork is not evidence of that mode.

Rockstar’s official screenshots show how tightly Jason and Lucia’s personal relationship is tied to the robberies, while the private-preview reports suggest the menu will quietly keep score. That is far more intriguing than another giant skill tree. It means the way you conduct a job may say something about the character doing it, not merely add cash and wanted stars.

Why this menu could change how GTA feels

Red Dead Redemption 2 asked whether Arthur Morgan was honourable. GTA VI appears to ask a funnier, nastier question: are you actually good at being bad? A robbery completed without needless casualties may build a professional reputation, while turning every petrol station into a Michael Bay audition could push a protagonist toward something much darker.

The separate relationship layer also gives ordinary downtime a purpose. Going to the gym together reportedly counts as a date, and the pair can exchange messages or even say goodnight. Rockstar is effectively putting “text your criminal soulmate back” beside “remember to refuel the getaway car” on the same mental checklist.

It also helps explain why the game’s apparent 30fps console target may be doing so much work behind the scenes, an issue we explored in our GTA VI performance breakdown. Rockstar is building overlapping systems, not just a prettier Vice City. That is also the benchmark facing rivals such as Ananta.

So, no, this is not your first look at the final menu. It may be something more useful for now: a clever visualisation of a confirmed preview description, with enough invented gloss to show why players are excited. The real test comes on 19 November 2026—followed immediately by millions of people discovering whether one polite goodnight text can undo a getaway that flattened half of Vice City.
