Cam&Fam YouTube star Landon Clifford, father of 2, dies a hero at age 19

Cam&Fam vlogger Camryn Clifford announced, with a heavy heart, that her teenage husband Landon has passed away due to a brain injury.

The 19-year-old father of two, Landon Clifford, died a hero as he donated his organs to help other lives.

It was 2017 when Camryn Turner had the idea to create her YouTube channel, Cam&Fam. The channel documents her experience as a soon to be teenage mum. Fans got to be there for the birth of her two adorable daughters Collette Briar and Delilah Rose.

Finally, in 2019, she tied the knot with the girls’ father, Landon Clifford, and took his surname, making her Camryn Clifford.

Sadly, Camryn returned after disappearing off social media to announce that Landon had passed away at the age of 19.

Landon suffered a brain injury

“August 13th 2020 was Landon’s last day being the best dad and husband he could be,” the 19-year-old family vlogger told her 472,000 Instagram followers.

“After spending the following 6 days in a coma he passed on and donated several organs to people in need all over the country. He died saving the lives of others. That’s the type of person he was.”

Landon had sustained a critical brain injury a the week prior, but the cause of this has not yet been revealed.

Landon Clifford has since been in medically induced coma in the ICU (intensive care unit) at his local hospital in Texas, USA.

Cam expressed how heart breaking it was to know that his two wonderful daughters would never really get to know their father.

“[Landon was] compassionate, loving, thoughtful, kind, and gentle. He was an amazing husband and the best father those girls could of ever asked for,” she added.

“It saddens me deeply that they will never get to truly know him. He was so young and had so much more life to live. This isn’t how things were supposed to go … He was meant to die old with me. Words cannot come close to describe the pain I feel.”

Attached to the tragic announcement was a photo of Camryn with her hand tenderly touching her husband’s chest as he lay in a hospital bed.

$30,000 raised by fans

Fans of the teenage parents set up GoFundMe campaigns to help pay for Landon’s medical expenses and funeral costs. They have currently raised more than $30,000USD since Sunday.

The Cam&Fam YouTube channel has earned over 1.3 million subscribers since 2017. The first video Camryn uploaded was on November 17, 2017, where she documented her visit the hospital for her gender reveal appointment.

At the time, her then boyfriend, Landon Clifford lived all the way in Dallas, Texas, while she lived in Florida. Still the couple were determined to want to find out the gender of their first child together.

The Cam&Fam story

It wasn’t until Cam and Landon had named their first unborn daughter, Collette Briar, until she had the genius idea of rebranding her “Teen Mom Vlogs” channel to “Cam&Fam.”

Since then she has regularly uploaded to her channel keeping fans updated on the the daily life of a teen mum with videos like being a pregnant teen in high school, dealing with hate as a pregnant teen, all the way up to potty training videos.

Landon Clifford become more active on the channel until the couple finally moved into together just ahead of their wedding; which they shared with the world.

The channel has seen steady growth over the years and currently averages around half a million views per video. Camryn is likely to returning to vlogging after she takes a much needed, and deserved, hiatus from social media.
