Ethan Klein, on the other hand, believed this to be the perfect opportunity to rile up some outrage against Keemstar and the recently banned YouTuber Leafy.
H3H3 tweets that Leafy is dangerous and “truly disturbing.”
After the the news broke about the tragic Kenosha shooting tragedy, Ethan recorded a clip from Keemstar’s StoryFire stream where he was casually chatting to Leafy while eating his lunch.
Keemstar expressed concerns for Leafy’s safety after he decided to go to the protest on his StoryFire live stream.
“I’m not that frail. I own guns. I went there with a gun in a holster. I don’t have if I can say this out loud, but I don’t have a weapons permit,” Leafy says during Keemstar’s StoryFire stream.
Leafy is known for his edgy sense of humour, regardless, what he had to say seemed to rub Ethan Klein the wrong way.
In the video recorded from StoryFire, Leafy continues to joke about guns, “My family has guns, I’m from Utah. I just hope one day in my life for somebody to give a reason to shoot them.”
It’s unclear of whether Leafy is referring to simply using the guns or shooting someone.
Keemstar pauses for a moment and looks shocked with what he just heard, but then Leafy admits he was just joking and the two of them break into laughter.
Ethan Klein (H3H3productions) called SJW after attempting to deplatform Leafy and Keemstar.
Ethan Klein took the clip out of context and then misquoted what Leafy said during the StoryFire discussion.
“Leafy confesses he went to the protests with an illegally conceiled [sic] gun, saying he was ‘looking for someone to give me an excuse to shoot them’. Truly disturbing,” Klein posted on Twitter.
Fans were quick to flock to Leafy’s defence saying that he never said he wanted to shoot someone at the protest and that it was a joke. Even Keemstar responded jokingly thanking him for the plug while promoting his StoryFire channel.
Ethan thinks Leafy could kill him.
