It’s over for Shane Dawson as major stores pull his merch and makeup from shelves after paedophilia and blackface controversy.
YouTube superstar Shane Dawson is, yet again, tangled up in controversy after being exposed in a shocking video and has now been cancelled. People have dug up old videos where a he exploits minors for views and justifies paedophilia.
UPDATE: Large retailers including Target are removing Shane Dawson books from their stores after old videos surface of Shane Dawson doing a Will Smith ‘blackface’ parody.
Morphe have also removed the Shane Dawson makeup collection from their website and many more are allegedly to follow.
This is not the first time that Shane has had to defend himself against paedophilia allegations. A few years ago a small YouTube channel called Pop Blast accused Dawson of being a paedophile when they allegedly took several clips out of context.
In the clip, Dawson seemingly joked about being approached by a 6-year-old Instagram star whilst he was out one day, and being shocked to find that she had almost as many followers as he did.
“I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this, but she’s like sexy,” Dawson says in the video, beforejustifying paedophilia.
“Having sex with children or touching children is terrible and you should not do it. But. Here’s my thing… people have foot fetishes. People have fetishes about everything.”

He then adds: “Why is it that when someone Googles ‘naked baby’ on the internet and jerks off to it they can get arrested? I don’t understand that.”
“Here’s the worst part of it. I actually went to Google, and I didn’t want to see child pornography, but I was like, ‘let me just pretend like I’m a paedophile for a sec,” he concludes.
The Pop Blast video went viral and the allegations started trending on Twitter. Dawson then released a video explaining that all the clips used by Pop Blast were taken out of context.

However, more old footage of Shane Dawson saying and doing depraved things has surfaced, and it’s not looking good for the 31-year-old vlogger.
Dawson justifies paedophilia to minors.
One of the newly surfaced videos shows a younger Shane Dawson speaking about paedophilia to minors on the now defunct video chat site Tinychat.
“So, basically he’s 5-years-old mentally, right? But sexually he’s 50 and he still has a penis, and it still wants to play,” Dawson explains to his young viewers while winking.
He continues: “It kind of makes sense to me why he molests children, does anyone agree?”
“He’s mentally 5. I don’t think he’s an evil person, he just has mental problems,” he concluded.
Shane Dawson pretends to get off to a poster 9-year-old Willow Smith.
Another disturbing video shows the Conspiracy YouTuber in public pretending to pleasure himself over a picture of a minor. The video maybe short and lack context but there is little that could justify his actions.

Shane Dawson exploits 12-year-old girl for views.
Shane Dawson might be able to explain the previous videos as just his ‘edgy humour’ but there’s no excuse for deliberately sexualising and exploiting a young girl for likes and views on his YouTube video.
A series of videos show Shane Dawson is exposed exploiting his, assumed, cousin Lucy.
One of the videos starts with Dawson pointing at 12-year-old Lucy shouting, “show more titties,” before telling her to seductively eat a cocktail-wiener for his ‘child molester viewers’.
Dawson taunts 12-year-old Lucky saying, “don’t want to f**k you yet,”as she’s made dance on a table.
Another video he simulates sex with his female friend to teach Lucy ‘how to please her future husband’.
In the last video Dawson gets Lucy to dance upon a table. She starts awkwardly doing the robot dance and Dawson shouts, “we don’t want to have sex with you yet,” before sending his friend up to teach her how to twerk.
Is Shane Dawson a paedophile?
Shane Dawson has never been charged with any serious sexual offences. The videos, although disturbing, do not incriminate him but they do show a darker side to his already edgy humour.
If it isn’t evident already, Shane is not a role model for children, and is definitely not family friendly. Despite him showing some growth and maturity in his more recent videos he still makes a lot of sexually charged jokes and suggestive comments.
Shockingly it is not the comments about children and paedophilia that got Shane Dawson cancelled, it’s a short video where he parodies Will Smith music video in ‘blackface’. Target and other major retailers only acted when Jaden Smith called the YouTuber a racist.
What do you think of these videos? Is it just Shane’s edgy humour or has he gone too far? Let us know in the comments below.
