“Twitch needed a scapegoat,” Dr Disrespect lashes out after ban

Date:

Dr. Disrespect allegedly revealed to his friend Nickmercs that he believes that he was Twitch’s scapegoat when he donated to him during a livestream.

Much to the surprise of millions, Herschel ‘Dr. Disrespect’ Beahm IV was permanently banned from Twitch almost two weeks ago and, up until now, he’s been very quiet on the issue.

People have been speculating like mad ever since Dr. Disrespect was suddenly and permanently banned from Twitch. One of the theories was that The Doc was banned for violating his newly inked 20-something million dollar contract by investing in a new streaming startup; Brime and Sting were highly speculated, but those rumours have now been debunked.

The official Twitter account of Dr. Disrespect posted a quick update letting fans know that Twitch had not yet told him why he was banned. eSports announcer Rod “Slasher” Berslau and former Twitch employee and partner Shannon Plante both claimed to know the reason why, stating it was “serious” and insinuated it was #MeToo related. Both of them later deleted their Tweets.

A whole week went by and Dr. Disrespect as well as all of his respective social media accounts were completely dark, but then, this weekend, he reportedly broke his silence on the matter during Nick “Nickmercs” Kolcheff livestream.

Jake Lucky at Esports Talks was the first to report that Dr. Disrespect had allegedly donated $50USD to Nickmercs during his livestream saying that Twitch needed a “scapegoat.”

The message following the donation read: “It’s not the audio… check the records and VODS. Barely laying on a lounge chair right now. I hear everything. The ponytail is still drippin’, and the two-time never slippin’. Twitch needs a scapegoat? I ain’t even trippin’.”

Before reading out the message Nickmercs said he was confident that this was an actual donation from Dr. Disrespect.

“Dr. Disrespect has donated to me before and this is exactly how he does it,” Nick ‘Nickmercs’ Kolcheff explained.

A scapegoat is a person who is blamed for the wrongdoings, mistakes, or faults of others, especially for reasons of expediency.

The message seems to imply that Dr. Disrespect believes Twitch martyred him to save grace whilst a thunderous roar of angry women was coming from within their own office walls. The angry women were all accusing high-ups and other staff members of sexual misconduct.

A source close to Twitch has since reached out to us with information regarding Twitch’s decision and, if true, it is, in fact, related to the sexual harassment allegations spreading on Twitter at the moment. However, this is nothing new.

The source claimed that girl who Guy ‘Dr. Disrespect’ Beahm had an affair with in 2017 is now “making noise” about it and demanded that the popular Twitch streamer be permanently banned from the platform.

“She claims that she’s going to go public with the private messages and everything very soon. Since she’s close to Twitch staff, they’ve known about all of this for quite some time but she’s making a lot of noise about this all of the sudden,” the source revealed to Sausage Roll.

Alleged Dr. Disrespect accusers Amanda ‘AvaGG’ Myddleton and Cheney ‘Cray’ Ray (CrayMusic).

“She is making him out to be some kind of predator and said it won’t look good that Twitch gave this guy a 20 million dollar contract while previously having knowledge about this,” the source concluded.

Guy ‘Dr. Disrespect’ Beahm did seem very distraught when he opened up a message during his final livestream. Fans have not seen him that visibly upset since he made an apology video about cheating on his wife in 2018. Perhaps he thought he had finally moved on and the expression on his face is because he, and his wife, have to relive the trauma all over again.

It is strange that Guy was found out to be cheating on his wife, especially considering that the identity of the girl has never been revealed. That may because the girl with whom he cheated was underage at the time and her identity was protected for legal reasons, however most people still believe that it was Twitch partner and musician Cray.

A video was filmed by a YouTuber called BurgerPlanet that showed Guy Beahm seemingly flirt with a girl who was later identified to be Cheney ‘Cray’ Ray (CrayMusic), and, although she denied having an affair, a series of strange Tweets from her and her ex-partner Vincent have people second guessing her claims.

Three days before Dr. Disrespect was permanently banned from Twitch, Cray (CrayMusic) went live on the platform and had a meltdown while discussing the sexual harassment and abuse she endures for being a female streamer.

The following day one of Cray’s best friends, and huge GamerGate and MeToo supporter, Amanda “AvaGG” Myddleton, Tweeted the following regarding the Dr. Disrespect ban.

Interestingly enough AvaGG also Tweeted condemning Guy Beahm and his followers when news broke about him cheating on his wife.

Others believe Dr. Disrespect cheated with Amanda ‘AvaGG’ Myddleton, which could be true if the following is factual: One of Guy’s friends and Twitch moderators, OHMEGA, got drunk during one of his own livestreams and admitted that Guy ‘Dr. Disrespect’ Beahm has actually cheated on his wife four times with four different women during 2016-2017; so I guess you could call him “The Four-Time”.

Four different women? All Twitch streamers? Could it be that every single one of them, including AvaGG and CrayMusic, is now coming forth and accusing Dr. Disrespect of sexual assault, regardless if their interactions were consensual back then?

Could it be that one of the girls was underage (not at the age of consent) and she’s finally ready to speak out?

Or perhaps The Doc is right and he’s just a scapegoat, or rather a sacrificial goat for the MeToo movement. Guy seems to embody everything modern feminist streamers hate: he’s successful, he’s masculine and he’s a gamer.

Do you believe Dr. Disrespect has done something terrible or is he just a scapegoat for Twitch and the MeToo movement? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
