InvaderVie, a Twitch streamer who emotionally manipulated and extorted her viewers for money, violated Twitch Community Guidelines and may be permanently banned.

The Toronto based Canadian streamer (InvaderVie aka thighranosaurus rex on Twitter) has shamed her viewers for not subscribing to her channel on several occasions, but her most recent rant might lead to Twitch permanently banning her from the platform.

Many of InvaderVie’s former supporters have spoken out after her Twitch meltdown where she shamed people for not paying the USD$5 subscription to watch her ‘content’.

“I donated because she was a cute edgy girl who had some pretty hot takes, but things got real awkward when she told viewers that she basically doxxes us. My heart [expletive deleted] skipped a bit when she said that she had visited my LinkedIn,” one of her donors admitted.

“Where the hell was she going with this? First thought that popped into my head was ‘is she trying to donate shame me, because she knows I earn a whole lot more’, but then she brought up my wife… and I noped the hell out off there. Seems like she was going to threaten to tell my wife if I didn’t continue to support her,” he added.

The former fan explained that his wife was fully aware that he had donated to her and that she didn’t really have a problem with it.

“My wife is also successful and she supports many content creators both male and female. I just want Vie digging into my private business. That’s creepy as [expletive deleted].”

Recently the 29-year-old Canadian Twitch streamer lashed out her viewers for not subscribing to her channel, “If you don’t have $10, you probably don’t have time to watch Twitch, because you should be working.”

When a fan responded saying that they were unemployed and all of their money had to go towards basic necessities and rent, InvaderVie doubled down, implying that if people were offended by her comments they needed to toughen up. “No one’s going to convince me that what I’m saying is so rude, or so unacceptable, or so outrageous. It just simply isn’t,” she said.

This is not her first time emotionally manipulating or extorting money from her viewers. A fan once commented on her livestream saying that InvaderVie was one of her favourite streamers. She responded by shaming him for not subscribing to her channel and called him a liar.

InvaderVie has reportedly lost close to 100 subscribers, maybe more, and might even be banned from Twitch for violating their Community Guidelines.

Her actions are in direct violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines, more specifically for Hateful and Conduct and Harassment as well as the Sharing of Unauthorized Sharing of Private Information.

Twitch strictly states that any attempts to intimidate, degrade, abuse, or bully others, or creates a hostile environment for others is prohibited. And, depending on the severity of the offence, can result in a indefinite suspension of the account.

Calling out people who are currently going through financial strife and telling the sub or get a job is very demeaning. As is insinuating that they are not worthy of your content by saying ‘you can’t afford me.’

InvaderVie, whose real name still is unknown, also revealed that she dug up dirt on her past supporters and revealed that they were mostly married men who were extremely wealthy because they worked as software engineers.

Many people felt very uncomfortable that she brought their partners into the discussion and they’ve accused her of stalking their private profiles. “My LinkedIn is strictly professional, there is no mention of my wife or children on there. She would have had to look up my private Facebook page for that info, and that scares me. Suffice to say, I’ve made it private now.”
