Kristen Stewart lied about Disney accusing them of being homophobic, claims she wouldn’t get a role in the MCU for holding girlfriend’s hands. That’s a lie, sources say.
After her ex-boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, was revealed to be DC’s next caped crusader, Kristen Stewart showed a sudden interest in playing a superhero herself.

The 29 year old actress told the press that she would not get a role in Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe if she kept holding her girlfriend’s hand in public. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar she said, “I was informed by an old-school mentality, which is – you want to preserve your career and your success and your productivity, and there are people in the world who don’t like you, and they don’t like that you date girls, and they don’t like that you don’t identify as a quote unquote lesbian’, but you also don’t identify as a quote unquote ‘hetero-sexual’. And people like to know stuff, so what the f*** are you?”
However, this statement is not entirely true. Kristen Stewart lied about Disney. The Twilight starlet was merely told to curb her public display of affection, it had nothing to do with her gender.
Kristen Stewart’s sudden fall from grace
Kristen felt the public’s back-hand after being caught cheating on her then-boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. She was shamed and publicly ridiculed which sent the actress down a dark path which eventually lead to her having an embarrassing mental breakdown.
Unfortunately, the actress developed a bit of a victim mentality and never owned up to her faults for cheating on Pattinson. Instead, she nurtured a “I don’t give a damn” attitude and her ideologies on sexuality turned extreme and, admittedly, vulgar. To some, Stewart become unrecognisable. From the once adored Hollywood princess to, what some of her best friends even describe her, a pervert.
It is alleged that when it comes to public display of affection, it’s no bars held for the actress. Sources close to Stewart claim that her public behaviour is sometimes X-rated, and, on many occasions, she has done a lot more than just hold hands. “There’s nothing dirty about it, but I’m definitely going to be vulgar, and I’m definitely going to be completely unabashedly open about the fact that we’re entirely sexual beings.” She told Harper’s Bazaar.

Disney is a family company, it always has been. Right now, Kristen Stewart does not fit their mould and it has nothing to do with her gender, but rather the way she carries herself in public. As made clear by her interviews, she is not very polite and likes to use a lot of profanity when speaking. She also has no shame and is overtly sexual in public. That’s the problem.
Disney pride themselves on diversity and inclusiveness. They’ve made huge efforts to give the LGBT community their deserved representation. There is not a single shred of homophobia or transphobia in the Disney brand. They don’t care about your orientation, but they do care about hiring wholesome people who won’t damage their image.
Stewart’s comment is nothing more than her trying to weaponize her gender by pandering to a community that feels that they, also, are misrepresented and oppressed. She knows this. Sadly, she doesn’t knows the dire effects these kinds of allegations can have on her career. Is Kristen Stewart’s career over? We’ll find out soon enough.
