Amber Heard Hollywood boycott: stuck doing indie films for now

Date:

Amber Heard is taking a bit of a career detour as the drama around the Johnny Depp allegations intensifies. Staying away from the spotlight the actress is now focusing on indie cinema.

She thought she had her ex-hubby, Johnny Depp, stuck under her thumb — however — as new witnesses come forth, there’s now more evidence to prove that Amber Heard lied about being abused.

Hollywood boycott Amber Heard, or at least for the time being. The legal battle between Depp and Heard is the topic that’s hot on everyone’s lips right now in Los Angeles, California. So hot, in fact, that Amber Heard is basically in hiding.

After countless of Hollywood stars (mostly female) have come to Johnny Depp’s defence, many of Heard’s own acquaintances are starting to question her original story. It’s not looking good for the 34-year-old Aquaman actress.

Even Heard’s personal stylist, Samantha McMillen, is now calling Amber Heard i liar! McMillen went on record stating that she believes that her black eyes were fake.

McMillen said: “On December 16, 2015, I spent much of the day and evening with Amber Heard, preparing her to appear on the James Corden show. I saw her throughout the day of December 16, 2015, in good light, at close range, wearing no makeup. Throughout the day of December 16, 2015, I could see clearly that Amber Heard did not have any visible marks, bruises, cuts, or injuries to her face or any other part of her body. She appeared as a guest on the James Corden show that day.”

Now more, and more, reports are flooding in that Heard faked more injuries when she made the domestic abuse allegations against Johnny Depp. On April 6th our very own industry insider, Dianne Anders, spoke to a Californian based law firm that confirmed that Amber Heard could face up to 3 years in prison for submitting fake evidence.

Petition to remove Amber Heard as L'Oreal spokesperson reaches 5k

Amber Heard stuck doing indie films during soft Hollywood boycott but still spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris.

Many of the biggest Hollywood studios are now — at least momentarily — distancing themselves from the actress until the dust settles and an official verdict is reached on the Depp v. Heard case.

It’s still too early for any official announcement from Warner Bros., but it is alleged that a decision has been made to replace Amber Heard as Mera in Justice League 2 which is still in super early stages of pre-production.

Despite the soft Amber Heard Hollywood boycott, there’s no shortage of work for the actress. Surprisingly, despite being in the heart of a domestic abuse investigation, Amber Heard is still a spokesperson and, ironically, the ambassador for violence against women at L’Oreal Paris. She’s also currently getting work in indie films.

Amber Heard’s next movie, Run Away With Me (fitting name), is an indie film directed by Fred Grivois. It is about an American in Paris who falls for a model and the two become intertwined in the criminal underworld of the European modelling industry.

Amber Heard fake injuries

Amber Heard films now limited after evidence that she faked injuries against Johnny Depp.

Heard is the only confirmed actress to be starring in Run Away With Me and it is the only confirmed film, despite Aquaman 2 which is still in murky waters, Heard has until 2022.

Do you think Hollywood should cut her some slack or should she be punished for allegedly lying about being a victim of domestic abuse and slandering her ex-husband Johnny Depp? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
