Emma Stone stars as Disney’s creepiest villain in their upcoming live-action Cruella film, but she kind of resembles e-girl Emma Langevin, and she’s hot.
Disney gave us a first look at the re-imagined, and much younger, version of the 101 Dalmatians villain Cruella de Vil. This origin story has elements of DC Comics Joker and a touch of TikTok e-girl vibes. It’s kind of hot.
Cruella de Vil. Cruella de Vil. If she doesn’t scare you, no evil thing will. Well, I don’t know about being scared but I’m certainly feeling something.
Emma Stone is 101 Dalmatians villain in the live-action origin story simply named Disney’s Cruella and she looks great. A little too great. There’s no denying that the 32-year-old Easy A actress has a strong on-screen presence. We’ve seen her fierce and soft side, and she has the talent to play whoever she desires. But Emma Stone is also regarded as one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. So, is she really the best casting options for Cruella, albeit a much younger version?
Perhaps! Cruella de Vil is a bit of a fashionista socialite. Expensive luxury fur coats, eccentric hairstyles and living the highlife is Cruella’s bag. Cruella most surely was a bit of a looker back in her heyday, so — yes — Emma Stone is probably the best casting option for her.
Yesterday Disney teased us all with the world premiere trailer for the Cruella. The movie gives us a closer look at the life of Disney’s nastiest villains and how she came to power. Fans are already saying they are getting massive Joker vibes from the trailer, especially because of the scene where we see Cruella written all over the White House walls in creepy glow-in-the-dark lipstick… oh, and that creepy laugh!
However, another thing some people just cannot unsee is how much Emma Stone’s Cruella de Vil resembles the popular e-girl known as Emma Langevin.
Emma Langevin is an online personality, known for her posts on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. She had around 230K followers on Twitter before she was banned because she was considered to be “problematic” due to the people she followed on social media. She’s back now, though, and has 136K followers on Twitter.
She has also been immortalised as the face of e-girls by popular YouTuber known as Corpse Husband because he used her image as a thumbnail for his hit song “E-girls Are Ruining My Life.”
So, in a way, Eva Langevin is a bit of a villain to some people so it makes sense that she looks a little like Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil. But now that we’ve seen the two of them side-by-side it is hard not to think of Emma Langevin when you see Cruella de Vil and vice versa.
