Alita: Battle Angel is getting people super hyped for the upcoming, and highly anticipated, CDPR game Cyberpunk 2077. Fans binge watch.
There are only four days left until CD Projekt Red finally release their highly anticipated cyberpunk role-playing games, and fans are watching Alita to get hyped.
Alita: Battle Angel was one of the biggest sleeper hits of 2019 still fans are left high and dry because Disney remain absolutely silent on a sequel… but now they can — kind of — relive the experience through Cyberpunk 2077.
Alita: Battle Angel and Cyberpunk 2077 share a whole lot more than just a common theme. The style, the setting, and even parts of the story are similar… and Alita fans are fully aware of this.
Iron City is to Night City kind of like what New Jersey is to New York. It feels like the outer slums of a much larger and nicer city (sorry New Jersians, we still love you).
Even the stories share a similar political tone about a post-apocalyptic world divided by classism and identity politics with the ultimate baddy being a secretive and super illusive corporatist who controls the city while sitting pretty in his high-rise ivory tower… much like Nova, the powerful mad scientist in Zalem.
With the high level of character customisation and body modification, I’m sure that players could essentially create a close likeness of our favourite Disney princess, Alita.
With only four short days until the game finally releases on PC, PlayStation and Xbox (both current and next-gen consoles) fans are now binge watching Alita: Battle Angel to get inspired and hyped for trip to Night City in Cyberpunk 2077.
