New source confirms that T’challa dies and Shuri becomes Black Panther

Date:

Chadwick Boseman role as T’Challa has been retired and the Black Panther actor will not be recast. Shuri will take his place.

Chadwick Boseman left a void in Marvel Cinematic Universe when he tragically passed away earlier this year, and although T’Challa will not be recast, the legacy of the Black Panther continues… through Shuri.

NEWS: Netflix is working on a Stranger Things spinoff starring Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven.

Earlier this year one of our sources contacted us about the changes we should expect to see in the Black Panther 2, and now more people are confirming these rumours.

Nobody except Chadwick Boseman‘s closest family knew about his terminal illness. It was a secret he guarded with his life because he didn’t want to be treated differently.

Boseman was a man of spectacular work ethic. He kept working through his pain, delivering spine tingling award-worthy performances across the board. That’s why it came as such a shock, even to director Kevin Feige, when he lost his battle with cancer in late August.

Shuri is the new Black Panther and fans are not happy about it
Letitia Wright, pictured as Shuri, will take over in the Black Panther 2.

It wasn’t until that fateful day, August 28, that Marvel chief creative officer Kevin Feige received an urgent and heart-breaking email regarding Chadwick Boseman that he learned of his illness and tragic death.

Boseman was offered a 3 film contract.

A close family friend of Boseman told Sausage Roll that he initially turned down a 3 film contract because the actor could not, in good faith, promise that he could fulfil the agreement.

Executive producers at Disney/Marvel started panicking because Chadwick Boseman had not yet responded to their proposal for Black Panther 2 and started making backup plans to introduce Shuri as the new Black Panther.

Sadly, now Disney/Marvel don’t really have a choice in the matter and Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, is best option for the Black Panther moving forward.

New movie to be based on Reggie Hudlin’s novel.

The original rumours suggested that the sequel will be based on Black Panther #2 graphic novel by Reggie Hudlin. In the sequel Shuri will head to Limbo to save T’Challa, but arrives there only to discover his lifeless body. She then heads to the USA to report the tragic news to the rest of the Avengers and must then prove her worthiness of becoming the next Black Panther.

Grace Randolph confirms Shuri/Black Panther rumours.

Hollywood insider, film critic and YouTuber Grace Randolph claims that Boseman’s character T’Challa will be killed off in an epic battle at the beginning the sequel.

“I hear they are making a Chadwick Boseman digital double that’s looking very life like,” she added.

She also confirmed that Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, will in fact take over the title as Black Panther.

Although they’ve not started filming, Black Panther 2 is till scheduled to release in late 2022 with Shuri (Letitia Wright) as the replacement.
