Is Robert Pattinson little Bruce from Joker All Grown Up?

Date:

For those who have missed all the hints Warner Bros. have been dropping at a rebooted DCEU, here is yet another. Robert Pattinson is really replacing Dante Pereira-Olson, the young Bruce Wayne from Joker, and not Ben Affleck.

The Batman and Joker are the first two, and maybe the only two, in a fresh DC cinematic universe. This shared universe, for a time, was supposed to run separately to the Justice League one, but it is really looking like Warner Brothers are pulling the plug on that mess.

The Batman was originally supposed to be written and directed by Ben Affleck, with himself starring as the caped crusader himself, but all that changed when production started for the Joker. The studio was so impressed with what Todd Phillips, Joaquin Phoenix and the rest of the team delivered that they decided to throw away whatever they had been previously working for The Batman and start fresh, tying the new Batman story into Joker’s universe.

Robert Pattinson was the perfect fit for this new Batman because he looked like an older Dante Pereira-Olson, the young fellow who plays Bruce Wayne in Joker; as we can clearly see with this side-by-side photo comparison. All Dante needs is a five o’clock shadow and he’s basically Robert Pattinson.

Yes, The Batman is not apart of the current DCEU. And yes, it ties into Todd Philip’s Joker movie. For the doubters still saying, ‘the only reason why they are not casting Ben Affleck is because the Bats is supposed to be younger’, well, then why not just cast Casey Affleck, huh? Gotcha!

A proper announcement should be coming soon, but don’t expect too much until October when Joker actually hits the cinemas!
