Next Australian Survivor season will most likely take place in Australia

Date:

Travel restrictions are not likely to easy up until mid-2021, so that means no Australian Survivor unless it takes place on one of these islands.

In 2019 Network 10 announced that they will air two seasons of the popular reality TV series Australian Survivor, but due to the current global crisis it’s not likely to happen… unless it is filmed here in Australia.

A spokesperson for the network explained that production for the upcoming season had been indefinitely postponed and that the health and safety of the cast and crew on Australian Survivor is the prime focus of the network.

“Following the Australian Government’s latest advice on overseas travel, plus discussions with the Fijian Government, production of the new season of Australian Survivor has been postponed. While this news is disappointing, the health and safety of everyone involved with the show is our number one priority. We will update everyone on when production will start as soon as we can,” said the spokesperson.

Just as restrictions were beginning to ease Australia has seen a second spike due to political protests and a few bad eggs who exploited travel restrictions within Australia.

Sadly, the word on the street is that world-wide travel restrictions will not ease until March, 2021. If that’s the case we won’t see another Australian Survivor season until late that year. That’s unless we host it on one of our many beautiful surrounding islands.

Australia has 8,222 islands within its maritime borders and there are a tonne of islands that would be perfectly suited for a game of Australian Survivor.

Network 10 could relocate the shooting of the upcoming season to one of these beautiful Australian islands and not have to deal with international travel ban.

Australian Survivor is usually filmed either in Fiji or Samoa, but why not just film in one of of very own beautiful islands.
