People think The Batman 2020 is Year One inspired after Matt Reeves teases a look at what Robert Pattinson looks like in his new.
The Batman director finally gave us all a look at what Robert Pattinson looks like as Batman in the new Batsuit. And the new Batsuit looks very rough and homemade hinting that we may, in fact, be seeing a fresh take on Batman: Year One.
The reveal comes shortly after a leak, that has now been debunked as fake, surfaced on the internet revealing a very feminine looking Batsuit.
The real came from a shared a clip from the camera test of the film showing Robert Pattinson as The Batman.
The video clip perfectly sets the tone for a darker version of The Batman. beginning with a dark climbing tune and gradually fading into a creepy red hue abundant with serial killer vibes.

Jacqueline Durran has done an amazing job, especially considering this is her first superhero project. She has managed to design a Batsuit that looks rough, ghetto, and super menacing all at the same time.

There are a few things to take away when taking a closer look at Robert Pattinson’s Batsuit; first is that the armour seems used, worn, and repurposed and… secondly is the noticeable stitching on Batman’s mask… and finally the logo is made of a combination of blades and old gun parts. This is clearly a homemade job, which means we are definitely seeing a young Bruce Wayne discover his identity in this origin story. It seem to be heavily inspired by Bathman: Year One.
