The Aussie starlet will play, lesbian superhero, ‘Batwoman’; and will act as a proud icon and voice to the LGBTQIA2+ community. Warner Bros. describe the super-hero as, “Armed with a passion for social justice and ‘out and proud’”.

FOX8 will air express from the US , the highly anticipated DC crossover event between three of DC Comics’ most popular shows: The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl, over three massive nights in December – December 10, 11 and 12.

Rose was cast for part of Kate Kane because of her ties to the LGBTQ community, something CW claim to be a significant moment in television history. Producers at CW said they wanted the part to go to an actor who was a member of the LGBTQI community, and Ruby Rose was the perfect choice.

“Whether straight, gay, bi, trans… body image and identity can be a struggle for us all,” Rose said about her sexuality.

Before CW’s Batwoman, LGBTQ star Ruby Rose was on her way to the A-list especially after having starred alongside Keanu Reeves in the critically acclaimed action movie John Wick Chapter 2.

The 35-year-old Aussie LGBTQ actress, Ruby Rose, also played the rocking lesbian rocker in the third instalment of the popular Acapella musical Pitch Perfect starring Anna Kendrick. The director liked her style so much that they just decided that she could dress like herself.

“I feel like my style is very much androgynous. It’s rock, chic, like casual wear, but then on the flip side to that, being that it’s so androgynous, it’ll either be skinny jeans and a leather jacket, or if I’m doing a red carpet or event, I’ll completely flip that and be wearing a suit or a dress,” Rose said.

You can watch the show on Australia’s Foxtel streaming service FoxNow. The show will be included in the Pop Pack that is available for AUD$25.00 a month.
