Kristen Bell appeared on The Ellen Show this week where they discussed normal family mishaps and other lighthearted stuff, but then things got a little strange when Ellen asked her about this.
She had heard that Dax might have flirted with Kristen Bell’s mum and wanted to get Kristen to spill the tea which, to our entertainment, she did.

If you’re may age you probably remember Kristen Bell as Veronica Mars, the quick witted teen aged private eye, but now she is a bit of a pop-culture icon among the younger crowd for playing Anna in the Frozen movies.
The 39-year-old actress guest starred on The Ellen Show to talk about life in general but things got a bit awkward when she was confronted with a question about her husband, Dax Shepard, flirting with her mum.

Kristen Bell’s mother was coming over for dinner and she texted Dax, “I can’t wait to see you tonight.” According to Kristen, Dax meant reply with smiley faces but instead sent a bunch of eggplant emojis.
According to dictionary.com (yes, dictionary.com) the eggplant emoji is really just used to represent a penis. So, Dax Shepard accidentally sexted Kristen Bell’s mum.
Kristen Bell said, that in the context of the accidental eggplants, that the message got a whole lot weirder and read it in her classic XOXO Gossip Girl voice.

Some people believe that the flirting was not so accidental.
“Why would she be texting Dax and not Kristen?” One person asked. “And why wouldn’t she say ‘can’t wait to see the two of you’ instead of just Dax?”
Kristen Bell claims that she confronted her mother about the accidental sexts but fortunately she had no idea what they meant.
