Yes… Rick and Morty are officially a part of the Marvel Universe

Date:

Did you think that Avengers: Endgame was the most ambitious crossover ever? Hold your horses; it’s confirmed Rick and Morty exist within the Marvel Universe.

As strange as it seems Marvel have indeed officially confirmed that Rick and Morty do exist within the Marvel Universe. It’s probably the strangest, yet most awesome, announcement of the year so far.

Did you know?

It was confirmed in the release of the latest X-Men “Dawn of X” chapter in the reboot line, Marauders #6, comicbook.com Reports.

A chat featured in the graphic novel references the adult cartoon as an actual television program within the Marauders.

Rick and Morty confirmed Marvel in X-Men Marauders

Rick and Morty in Marauders #6

The chart is revealed towards the end of Marauders #6 and it serves as Yellowjacket’s report from inside Pyro. Within it comes the official confirmation that popular Adult Swim series exists inside the Marvel Universe:

“What the hell kind of warship is this?” Yellowjacket writes, after seeing some of the weird/mundane behaviour of the Marauder crew. “Well, Pyro made himself a couple of Long Island iced teas and now he’s in the yacht’s movie theatre watching Rick and Morty.”

Rick and Morty WON’T appear in the Marvel Universe

It is important to note that they only exist as fictional cartoon characters inside the Marvel Universe. So, unless there is some outrageous plot device to make them real, they won’t appear as actual characters in the Marvel Universe.

However, that means that the creators, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, do exist as real people inside the universe and may eventually make an appearance.
