Johnny Depp fans domestic violence survivors alike are comparing Shia LaBeouf to Amber Heard, and — honestly — it is not hard to see why.
Australian pop megastar Sia Furler has broken her silence on Shia LaBeouf when she stood up for his ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs. Even the mainstream media has her back, but what about Johnny Depp?
In an interview with The New York Times, LaBeouf’s ex gave her account of the “relentless” physical and emotional abuse she suffered while she dated him.
Now, Australia’s very own pop megastar, Sia has shared her own stories against Shia LaBeouf, who was the star actor in her 2015 music video for ‘Elastic Heart’ alongside then-12-year-old dancer Maddie Ziegler.
“I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single,” she wrote in a tweet posted Saturday.
“I believe he’s very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away.”
She followed up by expressing her support for FKA twigs, tweeting “This is very courageous and I’m very proud of you.”
One odd thing, though, has many people feeling a bit uneasy and that is that, despite a plethora of evidence proving that Amber Heard was an abuser, the media did not give Johnny Depp the same support they gave FKA Twigs.

Heard was recorded on tape admitting that she was abusive to Johnny Depp. The 34-year-old Aquaman actress even mocked Johnny Depp and said that “nobody will believe and old white man over a pretty young girl.”
LaBoeuf has admitted that he is a broken man with a lot of issues as a former domestic violence and abuse survivor himself. Though that does not excuse his actions, it does give us a better understanding of his emotional disability.

However, the mainstream media seem to pinning this all on ‘toxic masculinity’ and ‘the frail mail ego’ instead of talking about what really matters: domestic violence victims.
Thousands of people have come out in support of FKA Twigs, and many of her most vocal supporters also believe that Johnny Depp, like her, was also a victim.
Sia Furler, with a voice of a Goddess and the heart of an angel, stood behind Johnny Depp on social media when she tweeted “Just showing my public support for Johnny Depp. I mean, I’d love him to get clean and stop with the jewelry, but he is clearly the victim after hearing those tapes.”
Did Amber steal those stories?
Perhaps Sia knows something we don’t. A lot of the stories coming out about Shia LaBeouf almost seem to be stolen by Amber Heard. Sadly, that is neither here nor there.
The truth is that real domestic violence victims know what it is like, and they have somehow developed a sense for fake allegations. That’s probably why thousands of real victims are siding with Depp, and many of them are now comparing Amber Heard to Shia LaBeouf.
