Another huge victory for Johnny Depp and his legal team. ACLU and Elon Musk have received subpoenas regarding Amber Heard’s lies about donating her settlement money to charity.
Johnny Depp’s legal team is on fire. After his win the UK Courts of Appeal against the The Sun libel verdict, Depp has now managed to subpoena both ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) and the world’s wealthiest man, and Amber Heard’s ex, Elon Musk after new evidence suggests that Heard committed charity fraud.

It has now been proven that Amber Heard lied under oath in the UK High Court when she testified on behalf of The Sun during Johnny Depp‘s libel case.
Heard claimed that she had donated the entirity of her settlement money to the American Civil Liberties Union and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
During The Sun trial Heard went on the record to say: “As described in the restraining order and divorce settlement, money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity and, in doing so, hopefully help those less able to defend themselves. As reported in the media, the amount received in the divorce was $7 million and $7 million is being donated.”
It is believed that Heard either coerced her ex-boyfriend, Elon Musk, into covering her by donating money or that she claimed Musk’s donation as her owns which means she committed perjury in the UK High Court.
Depp’s legal team uncovered financial documents that proved that not a single penny was sent to either organisation by Amber Heard despite their respective websites claiming that they did receive some amount of money. The only traceable and documented amount came from Tesla billionaire Elon Musk. Now Depp’s legal team legally requested Elon Musk and the ACLU entities to sit for depositions in regarding their findings, as well as hand over relevant documentation of their interactions with Heard.
The Musk subpoena reveals that Depp’s lawyers have 24 requests that essentially cover “all communications between you and Ms. Heard regarding Mr. Depp.” This includes two dozen requests that are specific requests about The Sun case, the ACLU and “any allegations of physical abuse or domestic violence committed by either Mr. Depp or Ms. Heard.”
In the first ACLU subpoena, published by Deadline, “topics” sought basically have the same scope, with emphasis on donations, the defamation suit and conversations about “the relationship between Mr. Depp and Ms. Heard.”
The ACLU appear to have some dirt to hide considering they wilfully turned a blind eye to the last subpoena they received from Team Depp. Now that Amber Heard’s attorney has admitted that her contributions to the aforementioned organisations were “delayed” due to Amber Heard’s struggling financial situation, ACLU may be forced to join the legal battle to prove that they weren’t involved in charity fraud.
“Mr. Depp’s effort to plant stories in the media criticizing Amber for not yet fulfilling all the donations she pledged to charity is yet another desperate attempt to divert attention from the UK Court’s findings relating to allegations of Mr. Depp committing domestic abuse and violence. … Amber has already been responsible for seven figures in donations to charitable causes and intends to continue to contribute and eventually fulfil her pledge. However, Amber has been delayed in that goal because Mr. Depp filed a lawsuit against her, and consequently, she has been forced to spend millions of dollars defending Mr. Depp’s false accusations against her.” Heard’s attorney stated.
Elon Musk has remained mute on the drama between the Sweeny Todd actor, Johnny Depp, and Amber Heard. He once jokingly challenged Johnny Depp to a boxing match on Twitter but since then he hasn’t many any new comments.
