Sir Sean Connery legendary Scottish actor, known for his role as secret agent James Bond 007 has passed away at age 90, his family said.
Sir Sean Connery died this morning. His family revealed that he passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was 90-years-old.

Legendary James Bon actor Sean Connery is dead. Jason Connery, the actor’s son, broke the tragic news of his father’s death this morning. He said he was surrounded by friends and family who loved him dearly when Sean Connery died overnight in Nassau.
Jason said despite his father’s health conditions, that he wasn’t expecting Sean Connery to pass so soon and that his family is still trying to understand what happened.
He said: “We are all working at understanding this huge event as it only happened so recently, even though my dad has been unwell for some time.
“A sad day for all who knew and loved my dad and a sad loss for all people around the world who enjoyed the wonderful gift he had as an actor.”
Sir Sean Connery had an outstanding career as a film actor. He starred as James Bond 007 in seven films over a 20 year period.

He also played Henry Jones, the father of the legendary fedora sporting and whip wielding archaeologist Indiana Jones, in Steven Spielberg’s classic movie Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade.
Connery retired from acting in 2005 because he was sick of the politics in Hollywood. The conservative Catholic actor lashed out at the “liberal idiots who were making movies in Hollywood.”
Connery’s publicist, Nancy Seltzer, said that there will be a private ceremony followed be a memorial once the pandemic has ended.
He is survived by his wife Micheline and two sons Jason and Stephane.
