Billie Eilish debuts blonde hair on Instagram. Before now it would be a bit hard to imagine what the 19-year-old pop sensation would look with light coloured hair. But it seems that Billie Eilish is trying to change up her image with a new hairstyle.
Tonight Billie Eilish unveiled her brand new hair on her Instagram account. The dark brown/black and green hair was now a thing of the past and Eilish had gone golden blonde.
“She’s almost unrecognisable but I still love it!” An excited fan shared on her profile.
Another fan concurred with the positive feedback, adding “Love the new look, baby!”
She didn’t really give an explanation on the sudden change except for alluding to she’s finally sporting her dream style with a short and sweet “pinch me” comment.
The past few years have been very rocky for Billie Eilish and she’s openly discussed her struggled with anxiety, depression and insecurities to the media. She absolutely hates being sexualised and/or fetishised and, perhaps, that is something her eccentric style encouraged: the black and green hair and wild Gucci gear.
Billie Eilish is known for taking risks in fashion and sometimes doesn’t even care when she commits clear fashion sins, even when in public. But then again, confidence is sexy and it really appears that she is getting over her insecurities and absolutely owning her self confidence.
This isn’t the first time Billie Eilish has gone blonde, but it is the first time she has gone golden. A few years ago she decided to go platinum blonde and she looked great.
Eilish now looks a little like a young Dolly Parton, and she’s absolutely rocking that new golden blonde style. Perhaps this is a sign of a change in vibes in Billie Eilish’s life.
