Popular NBA2K and Grand Theft Auto Twitch streamer, Adin Ross, is grateful to be back on Twitch after being banned for using his phone while driving in an IRL stream.

To the surprise of many Adin Ross is back on Twitch despite having been allegedly permanently banned for texting while driving during an IRL stream last week. It was the 21-year-old’s fourth ban on the platform which means the three-strike rule that applies to so many other smaller streamers on the platform did, and does, not apply to him.

On July 8th Adin tweeted that he believed this ban was his final: “Just got banned in twitch. I think it’s a permanent guys … this is not good AT ALL. I was at a red light during my IRL [In Real Life] stream and I read chat off of my phone. I am 100% in the wrong I’m so sorry. I don’t know when I’m gonna be back though. I’m shaking right now. I’m so sorry. I feel horrible.”

A short clip surfaced of Adin Ross checking his phone while driving in an IRL Twitch stream which goes against the platforms harmful and dangerous content policy. Ross claimed he briefly checked his phone at a red light but his critics were quick to point out that the car was not slowing down while he was checking his phone.

Now that ban has been lifted and Adin Ross is able to stream again for his 4 million Twitch followers. Many people are upset with Twitch’s decision to lift the ban as many believe the streamer to have very “toxic fans” and Ross, himself, is considered somewhat of a black sheep in the Twitch community.

Adin Ross ‘arrested’ after Twitch ban

Adin’s own fans reportedly filed a false police report claiming that Adin Ross was armed in public and threatening citizens during his first stream back after his one day Twitch ban. However, Adin Ross later claimed it was a prank and that he was “arrested by fake cops” and it was set up by one of his fans or friends, possible trying to prevent another ban.

Adin later took to Twitter to comment on the incident, saying: “Bro that arrest was fake I was scared sh**less. Bruh, one of u guys called fake cops to come and fake arrest me .. y’all weird as.

In other news, Indiefoxx’s ban for violating the sexually suggestive content policy continues. It is believed that Indiefoxx’s ban is permanent and that she will not be allowed back on the platform because this was her 6th ban for a severe violation of Twitch’s policies in less than 12 months.
