Alec Baldwin responded to our comment about delaying the Halyna Hutchins investigation saying it’s “bullsh*t,” but he’s lying once again.
Alec Baldwin is furious. In an Instagram video, the 63-year-old actor slammed our journalist for saying that he delayed the investigation when he refused to surrender his phone for the investigation.

The oldest Baldwin brother’s ABC interview, in which he claimed that the pistol shot on its own, and now, again, after he sought to mislead the public about his involvement in the Halyna Hutchins enquiry, shows that he is untrustworthy, and that he has a long history of lying.
We previously reported that Alec Baldwin demanded that the police seek a search warrant when they asked him to hand over his phone. That is precisely what Baldwin did. In his Instagram video, however, he twists the reality with a strawman argument in an attempt to trick the public into thinking he’s assisting investigators.
Baldwin claims he had no idea the pistol he was carrying had a live ammunition inside when it went off. Investigators want to know where the live round originated from. The search warrant says they want to seek for text messages, photos, calls, and other movie-related information.
Alec Baldwin lied about his phone.
Baldwin fired back at our reporter: “Any suggestion that I am not complying with requests or orders or demands or search warrants about my phone, that’s bulls***, that’s a lie,” he said.
However, the fact is that Alec Baldwin did not cooperate with the police department’s order to turn in his cell phone. The Rock of Ages actor could have handed in his phone voluntarily, in response to the cops’ request, but instead he insisted that they seek a search warrant, allowing him the opportunity to dispose of it, wipe it, or just browse through it himself before turning it over.
“They can’t just go through your phone and take your photos, or your love letters to your wife, or what have you,” Baldwin said.
When a search warrant is issued a person has no choice but to comply. A search warrant is a court order permitting a police officer to examine a specific location or item for evidence without the occupant’s consent. Alec Baldwin did not cooperate in this instance. He refused to surrender his phone on his own and compelled police authorities to seek assistance through the courts.
Like Baldwin himself said in his Instagram video, “it takes time,” to obtain a search warrant, so Alec lied. He is actively delaying the investigation.
Regardless, the fact that the New Mexico police are looking into Alec Baldwin’s phone indicates that they believe foul activity has taken place and that Alec Baldwin remains a prime suspect in the investigation.
