Bob Saget, 66, opened up about getting the booster shot after his COVID-19 scare, reports allege he died from stroke caused by blood clot.
Although an official autopsy report has not been released, friends and family of Bob Saget were told he died from heart attack or stroke likely caused by a blood clot, TMZ reports.
UPDATE: We’d like to make a correction to some of the information mentioned in this article. It has been brought to our attention Bob Saget has been fully vaccinated and received his booster before he caught COVID-19. Additionally, he spoke about this on his January 6th podcast, not back in December.
There may be no link between Bob Saget’s death and COVID-19, but unsubstantiated reports that the Full House actor died from blood clot issues have anti-vaxers and conspiracy theorists scratching their heads.
During a “Bob Saget’s Here For You” podcast on the 14th of December, the comedian revealed that he battled COVID-19, and the scare was enough for him to go to a pharmacist and get his booster shot.
“It is not good, it does not feel good,” he continued. “I don’t know if I had Delta or … I might have had a combo. Maybe at one point they [Delta and Omicron] were working together.”
Friends and family members were shocked and distraught when they learned that Bob Saget had passed in his Ritz-Carlton Orlando hotel room on Sunday after performing the night before in Jacksonville, Fla.
The Saget family released a statement: “He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.
“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”
No longer just a “baseless conspiracy theory.”
Now TMZ — the site that first break news of Saget’s death — is reporting that Bob Saget died of a heart attack or stroke; something that is widely believed to be one of the adverse affects of vaccines and boosters.
According to TMZ sources, officials are looking into Bob’s admission last week that he had “recently battled COVID-19.” Blood clots have been mentioned as a probable virus-related consequence.
Australian Department of Health says there is a link between some vaccines and a very rare but serious side effect called thrombosis in combination with thrombocytopenia which affects 3 in every 100,000 adults over the age of 50, even healthy ones.
Thrombosis occurs when blood clots obstruct the flow of blood through veins or arteries. Pain and swelling in one limb, chest pain, or numbness on one side of the body are all possible symptoms. Thrombosis complications can be fatal, such as a stroke or heart attack.
Regrettably, no definitive cause can be established until the medical examiner receives Bob’s toxicological results. According to TMZ, the Orange County M.E.’s Office estimates that it will take 10-12 weeks to complete.
