DC comic book fans want Chloë Grace Moretz to star as Kara Zor-El in the upcoming Supergirl movie and she looks great in blue and red!
The Supergirl movie deserves an a-list actress to portray Kara Danvers/Kent and fans think Kick-Ass star Chloë Grace Moretz would be great for the role; photoshopped image reveals what she would look like in blue and red and with a cape!
Let’s face it; the DC cinematic universe is a mess right now. We still don’t really know what is canon and what isn’t. After releasing the Snyder cut of The Justice League, Warner Bros announced that this film was nothing but fan service and should not be considered as official canon.
As for The Batman (2022) and Joker (2019), they are also in completely separate cinematic universes to The Justice League, but rumour has it that respective directors Matt Reeves and Todd Phillips may be tying the two films together after Joaquin Phoenix signed on for another film.
At this point, Warner Bros should just go nuts and mess up the cinematic lore even more. Despite previously hinting at that The Justice League story arch would conclude after Aquaman 2, they’ve also said that Henry Cavill will return for at least one more film. So, they could easily have two Supergirls, or just recast that soap opera actress. Fans think Chloë Grace Moretz would be perfect for the role.
“She’s a knock out,” one excited fan wrote. “Suits her 110%,” another chimed in.
“I’d be on board with it. She’s always given me be Supergirl vibes […] After being in the Kick Ass films I always felt she should try more superhero films.”
Chloë Grace Moretz had just turned 13 when she starred in her first R-rated superhero flick and she became a fan favourite with her performance of Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass (2010) 11 years ago.
Supergirl will make her debut appearance in the The Flash which will premiere on November 4th, 2022, worldwide. Unfortunately for Mortez fans, the role of Kara Zor-El has already been cast. Sasha Calle (The Young And The Restless) has been cast as Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl along side problem child Ezra Miller in the upcoming superhero flick. This will be Sasha Calle’s debut to cinema.
Warner Bros have also greenlit a standalone Supergirl film starring Sasha Calle which is slated for a late 2023 release date.
