It’s been a longtime coming. Although fans fell in love with Halo Infinite’s campaign, they were very disappointed that the game that is known for having the best co-op mode didn’t launch with it. Fortunately, the wait is over.

Microsoft/Xbox Game Studios representative disclosed that the Beta will run from July 15 to August 1 and will be playable at any time during this period.

Additionally, the Beta is available to players on Xbox who are registered for the Xbox Insider Program, and players on Steam who were registered for the Halo Insider Program by July 11. While players on Xbox are able to gain access to the Beta throughout its duration by signing up for the Xbox Insider Program and downloading the build, Microsoft are unable to add additional players on Steam.

Developers have warned that the campaign co-op beta for Halo Infinite will contain a gameplay build that is still in production. This build is not necessarily reflective of the final experience, and it is subject to change as development progresses. Due to the importance of this Beta in enabling 343 to test network cooperative play at scale with a high number of concurrent players, we anticipate a certain amount of instability and crashes throughout the duration of the test.
