Xbox is expanding its push toward cloud gaming in a big way. Today, Microsoft announced a new partnership with V (formerly VIDAA) that will bring the Xbox app to select Hisense and V homeOS-powered Smart TVs in 2026.

The move means more players will be able to access Xbox games directly from their TV, without needing a console.
With the Xbox app on supported V homeOS Smart TVs, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential subscribers will be able to stream hundreds of games via Xbox Cloud Gaming. The lineup includes both new releases and long-standing fan favourites, all playable straight from the TV using a compatible controller.

Microsoft says the experience is designed to give players more flexibility in how and where they play. Game Pass subscribers will also be able to stream select games they already own, reinforcing Xbox’s broader “play anywhere” philosophy.
At launch, the Xbox app on V homeOS TVs will support a growing catalogue of titles, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, with many more games available through cloud streaming.
“Partnering with V represents another step towards providing freedom and flexibility for players,” said Lori Wright, Corporate Vice President of Gaming Partnerships and Business Development at Microsoft. “By expanding Xbox Cloud Gaming to even more screens globally, we’re opening new pathways for discovery, inspiration, and connection.”

V CEO Guy Edri echoed the sentiment, describing the integration as a way to turn the television into a full gaming hub. According to Edri, bringing Xbox’s game catalogue to V-powered devices aligns with the company’s focus on fast, simple, and globally accessible premium experiences.
More details about the partnership and rollout plans are available via an official post on Xbox Wire.
The Xbox app is expected to begin rolling out to supported V homeOS and Hisense Smart TVs sometime in 2026, marking another major step toward console-free gaming in the living room.
