Date:

Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa was heard saying something that sounded a lot like the N-word on he Twitch stream, but did she?

Amouranth was heard saying something a long the lines of “the n****rs” on her Twitch channel and, despite outrage, she has not been banned from the platform.

NEWS: Seth Rogen doesn’t think #AllLivesMatter.

While Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa was brushing her hair and preparing for her pay-walled ASMR stream, she was casually chatting to her viewers before dropping, what appeared to be, a massive racial slur.

Although the, alleged, slip of the tongue comes at a time where the entire world is fighting against ‘systematic racism’ the Twitch streamer has faced any repercussions. And that might be because she didn’t actually say it.

Fans claim that Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa was actually saying the ‘grocery store’ during the live-stream, and although It’s A Gundam addresses this in his hilarious video about the topic, it just might be the case.

“Ethnic is not a bad word, ” the 25-year-old streamer says in her stream. “It means everything that isn’t white people food.”

She continued: “Since, where I live, in the grocery stores everything is like white people cereal.”

Amouranth third Twitch ban should be final and permanent

Twitch girl Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa heard saying N-word, but did she?

As the stream continues the stream goes on she continues to talk about ethnic food and what is available at her local grocery store.

It does, in fact, sound like Amouranth is actually saying, “I guess that’s in the grocery store too now.”

Amouranth does have a big problem with slurring her words and it might be due to a speech impediment or intoxication.

Regardless, although Amouranth may not have dropped the N-bomb her comments about ‘white food’ were in fact a bit racist. To assume that there is no culture in white food is grossly inaccurate. Europe is filled with diverse white cultures that serve up very unique and tasty food: Italy, France, Germany, even the Nordic countries.

Twitch does — however — have a massive bias against certain streamers. Other streamers have been banned for uttering words that sound similar.

TF Blade and Pink Ward were immediately banned for saying words that viewers misheard.

“I actually just got suspended on twitch for something I never said but twitch misheard and assumed I did,” Homayouni said on Twitter. It’s not clear who reported Homayouni for allegedly using the slur, which he says was actually the word “idiot.”

Do you believe that Amouranth actually said the N-word or was she, in fact, talking about what was available in the grocery store. Let us know in the comments below.
