James Wan is adapting the most violent videogame ever into an R-rated action movie and the cast members are really getting hurt.
Fans have being dying for a proper R-rated film adaptation of the most brutal fighting game ever, Mortal Kombat, and from what we’ve seen so far, they are going to deliver; the cast are literally paying for it with their own blood, sweat, and tears.

The cast of the Mortal Kombat movie consists mostly of highly skilled martial artists and the fight scenes are promised to be real and very authentic. The actors have to train and exercise day and night to prepare for the real, albeit choreographed, fight scenes. Real punches are thrown and most of the actors do their own stunts and sometimes it ends in injury.

Lewis Tan is set to play the main role in the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot and although the details of his character have not yet been revealed, a leaked script hints that he might be playing a brand new character named Cole Turner.
Who is Cole Turner?
Cole Turner is a struggling and widowed boxer who cares more about his young daughter than anything. He is incredibly determined and refuses to quit in the face of fantastical adversity.
Fans are worried that Cole Turner maybe a replacement for Johnny Cage as his story and love interest are very similar.
If Lewis Tan is not playing Johnny Cage than he is definitely playing Cole Turner.
