Former personal assistant to Marilyn Manson defended the singer in a lengthy 90 interview with pop-culture analyst and YouTuber Colonel Kurtz, calling the Evan Rachel Wood allegations “ridiculous.”
Paula was admittedly a huge fan of Marilyn Manson before she met the singer and ended up becoming his close friend and personal assistant. She’s now speaking up for him and defending him against assault allegations made by Evan Rachel Wood.

In a 90-minute interview with Colonel Kurtz, Paula has known Manson for the better part of 20 years and doesn’t believe that he has it in him to be violently abusive to anyone. She describes him as a very compassionate and empathetic person who would go out of his way to make others feel special.
She went from being one of his biggest fans to a close friend and personal assistant who would accompany Manson to events and get-togethers.

When speaking about Evan Rachel Wood, Paula stated that “she was after something.”
She implied that Evan Rachel Wood never came across as a naïve victim and that she never saw any kind of power imbalance in their relationship.
Evan Rachel Wood wasn’t a victim.
“She [Evan Rachel Wood] sold him on a fantasy — you know the Lolita fantasy — and he bought it. It all seemed like it was her idea and she was trying to be what she thought he wanted,” she explained.
She added: “It was often her idea to be apart of his photoshoots and in his music videos.”
When asked whether she witnessed any kind of s*xual and physical abuse Paula said no and that “she has no loyalty to that kind of behaviour” recalling the time when she called the police on her own father for domestic abuse.
Paula also went on to call some of the Evan Rachel Wood abuse allegations about Marilyn Manson “ridiculous” explaining that a lot of she said was merely her just not liking certain aspects of his rock and roll lifestyle.
However, Paula did notice that towards the end of the relationship that it was having a negative impact on his emotional state. During the final breakup Manson became antisocial and exhausted.
She emotionally manipulated him.
According to Paula, another one of Manson’s accusers called Gabriella on social media would threaten to take her own life if Manson didn’t do what she said or didn’t give her enough attention. Gabriella was reportedly sent to a psychiatric ward after a failed suicide attempt, but Paula thinks that never happened.
“She was texting you asking, sort of good naturedly, ‘where is Manson, is he OK?’ and she has supposedly been locked up in 5051 where you don’t have a cell phone, you don’t have access to texting or what. It doesn’t make sense,” Colonel Kurtz said.
5150 refers to the California law code for the temporary, involuntary psychiatric commitment of individuals who present a danger to themselves or others due to signs of mental illness. It has been more generally applied to people who are considered threateningly unstable or “crazy.”
During the interview Colonel Kurtz brings up the Johnny Depp allegations. Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson are good friends. Marilyn Manson has even toured with Johnny Depp’s band Hollywood Vampires.
Paula recalls meeting Amber Heard at Johnny Depp’s 2015 Thanksgiving at the Swing House Studio in Hollywood.
During Depp’s The Sun libel trial, Amber Heard accused him of smothering, slapping and choking her that night.
“We got into a fight on Thanksgiving, where Johnny ripped my shirt and threw me across the room. He threw a wine glass and a heavy glass decanter at me, which thankfully both missed me,” Heard testified.
She alleged Depp slapped her, grabbed her by the hair and dragged her from room-to-room in their apartment.
Heard is creepy and rowdy drunk.
However, Paula does not believe that to be true at all and says that Manson thinks it is absolutely disgusting what Heard is doing to Johnny Depp.
“What? That doesn’t make any sense,” Paula said about Heard’s accusations. “We were all having a great time.”
“I found it strange that none of his [Johnny Depp’s] family where there. It was only her friends and her family. And she was drinking quite a bit,” Paula said.
A leaked video shows the couple laughing and joking around with Depp’s son, Jack moments before Heard alleged he beat her.
Amber Heard testified that she does not like to get drunk but according to Paula she was bragging about how many boxes of wine she orders.
David and Amber creeped her out.
She describes meeting Amber Heard for the first time at a Hollywood Vampires rehearsal, and said that she was very possessive and controlling of Depp.
Paula recounted a moment when an intoxicated Amber and her father talked to her in a very inappropriate, s*xual way.
“I’ve only been around her once while she [Heard] has been drinking and she seems like she is very rowdy and out there. At one point I was very uncomfortable because she sat next to me and David, her dad, sat next to me and there were just, like, talking to and making me feel very uncomfortable in a very — I hate to say it — a very ‘coming on to me’ kind of way,” Paula said.
The story is very similar to one told by Heard’s former mechanic and assistant who testified against Amber Heard, saying that she tried to seduce him when he was alone with her in her car.
Other sources have also told us that Heard drinks red wine excessively and can be a violent drunk.
Marylin Manson has responded to the recent allegations saying that people are trying to mispresent the past.
On February 2, 2021, Manson shared a post on Instagram stating: “Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims made about me are a horrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how — and why — others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, it is the truth.”
There are currently 5 accusers, including Evan Rachel Wood, but as it stands no one has yet contacted the authorities. Majority of the allegations made against Marilyn Manson were posted to Instagram.
