The former Sole Survivor and Olympic gold medal winner returned for another shot at winning the popular reality show, and she had a lot to say.
The 63-year-old two time Aussie survivor returned not only with a wealth of experience but real wealth being 1 of 5 people to win $500,000 in the recent iteration of the popular reality TV show… so naturally, she had a target on her back.

Shane Gould was not the only returning survivor to have previously won the title of Aussie Sole Survivor and the grand prize of AUD$500,000; king of the jungle’s other half, Jericho (voted 2nd sexiest returning survivor), also came back for another chance.
It was no surprise to us all that Shane Gould was a force to be reckoned with. At the age of 63 she is still a strong physical threat and is very sharp and perspective. With all these aspects, and the charm of the beloved grandmother, she became one of the first castaways on Australian Survivor: All Stars to get targeted.

“Survivor is anything but simple,” Gould responded at tribal when someone suggested that they keep the vote simple. “Simple is boring. There are a lot of smart, creative, people here who could play an exciting game and they should do that, because that’s what Survivor is all about.”
Knowing that she was at the on the top of the hit-list, Shane Gould did not refrain from speaking her mind and calling it as it is, and the other castaways were only wiser to hear words.

Spoiler Warning: Unfortunately, everybody’s favourite Aussie Olympian was sent home prematurely, but she faced the music unscathed and with a massive grin on her face. “I got outplayed, outwitted, and outsmarted by the All Stars… but I’m still a half a million dollars richer than they are,” Gould said with a cheeky smile on her face.
