Trolls respond to back Little Mermaid casting by creating a fake movie poster showing Emma Stone as USA Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles.
A lot of people are getting annoyed at Hollywood’s sudden need to race swap historically white characters with people of colour in an attempt to “end racism.” Trolls have taken it upon themselves to cast Disney’s Cruella actress, Emma Stone, as USA gold medalist Simone Biles.

The 24-year-old artistic gymnast from Columbus, Ohio, was absolutely beside herself when she brought home a gold medal for her country. She admittedly was thrilled and honoured to represent her country and announced that she was blessed to live in one of the best countries in the world. However, the USA soccer team did not share her sentiments.
The USA women’s soccer team refused to sing their national anthem, with some even kneeling to show support for a pro-communist activist movement that’s literally scourging American streets, ahead of their humiliating 3-0 loss against Sweden in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
The US women’s national soccer team even made a statement on Twitter demanding an apology an a repeal of the anthem policy which requires all competing athletes to stand respectfully while a national anthem is being played. .
Biles, on the other hand, was as patriotic as she could possible be and was quick to dismiss the disrespectfulness shown by the women’s US soccer team.
Sadly, Biles was slammed for her ‘toxic display of patriotism’ for proudly sporting her nation’s flag across her back by activist reporters in the mainstream media.
“Patriotism has many different looks,” Biles’ photographer told USA TODAY Sports in an interview. “I wanted to show that patriotism isn’t just about a flag, but other things.
The all-American look had offended many and, according to sources, Biles was told not to pose with the American flag in her photoshoot.
“I wanted to do something that would reference the aesthetic of America,” Biles’ photographer added, “but not have her literally dressed in an American flag.”
Simone Biles’ beautiful display of patriotism at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics game won the hearts of Americans. However, some are using the opportunity to fireback at Hollywood “wokeness” and jokingly petitioning to the red-haired Easy A actress, Emma Stone, play her in her upcoming biopic.
The meme references Hollywood’s recent decisions to replace white, red-haired, female characters with people of colour. Among some of these red-haired characters is Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Jimmy Olsen from Supergirl, Iris West from The Flash, and Hawkgirl.
“Hollywood Wars: Gingers Strike Back,” one user joked on Reddit. “The Revenge of the Red,” another added.
This meme, although not intended to be racist or hateful in anyway, has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.
“This is just more racism from the right-wing,” a self-proclaimed BLM Twitter activists tweeted.
Simone Biles has not commented on the meme but we do know that she has seen it. Chances are, she likely doesn’t care either way.
The next Olympics will be held in Brisbane, Queensland, in Australia in 2032.
