Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of the best TV shows to ever air. And although the last episode aired over 16 years ago, the fan community is still going strong and coming up with another funny Buffy meme.
Joss Whedon’s Vampire Slayer got off to a pretty shaky start. The screenplay was picked up by pre-Disney era Twentieth Century Fox and turned into somewhat of a dodgy teen flick. The 1992 Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie starring Kirsty Swanson was not too well received by critics and, the man himself, Jos Whedon buried his face in his palms when he saw the film. So, he took matters into his own hands and created a TV pilot for Fox in hopes that they’d pick it up for a series so that he could show the world his vision. Fox were impressed and green-lit the show and, as a result, fans were treated to one of the greatest shows ever.

Even today, Buffy and Angel have one of the biggest, most loyal and active fan communities. Whether you are on Facebook, Instagram or Reddit, you will find people from all walks of live discussing their love for the show. To say that their presence has gone unnoticed would be lying, studio executives are already planning a controversial Buffy reboot.
But, seriously, it is starting to feel like the Buffy reboot show-runner, Monica Owusu-Breen, is getting cold feet. Since the reboot has been announced, there’s been complete radio science; not so much a word from the Owusu-Breen, Fox or Whedon. Don’t fix it if it isn’t broken, right?
Well, whatever happens, we will always have the original classic to fall back on. People are still binge watching the heck out of both shows today, this is evident by funny Buffy memes like this popping up on my radar on the daily. Here’s another funny Buffy meme, check it out.

Instagram user, Angelus Badalamenti (play on Twin Peaks‘ composer and Angelus), posted this funny meme on his Instagram and it has since been shared on the social sharing site Reddit. Like a good joke, this meme needs no explanation but that hasn’t stopped fans from predicting how this epic crossover movie would end.
