Attack on Titan final season crashes Crunchyroll

Date:

Users are reporting service outages and crashes as the highly anticipated final season of Attack on Titan premieres on Crunchyroll.

Crunchyroll offers the premiere of Attack on Titan season 4, part two, the series’ penultimate and most critically lauded instalment for free — but sadly — there was too much demand for the last season of Attack on Titan to be handled by Crunchyroll’s servers and fans are left disappointed as their app crashes.

Although everything seems to be back in working order, for a moment or two Crunchyroll’s servers came to a crashing halt. The culprit? The incredible demand for the final season of Attack on Titan.

User attempts to access Attack on Titan on Crunchyroll were met with an error page and the words, “The requested page could not be found.” “We are sorry. A team of shinobi is working to bring your anime back. Thank you for your patience.” Many anime fans took to Reddit to vent their frustration and meme their anticipation away.

The recent influx of new users could have contributed to the outage as Microsoft offered 45-day free premium access to Crunchyroll to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.

A lot of impatient users opted to create an account with Crunchyroll’s competitor Funimation to watch the show instead. Funimation offers a 14-day free trial period where fans can watch the premiere of part 2 of the final season of Attack on Titan ad-free.

Some consumers, on the other hand, are avoiding Funimation like the plague because of the company’s CEO’s questionable past and political bias.

Action-packed and violent, the second part of the final season of Attack on Titan: The Final Season promises to be a fight of epic proportions. Part 2 of the epic saga has been getting a lot of attention lately, thanks in part to all of the new advertising materials that have been made available. An emotional shot of Eren Jaeger as glass fragments depicting important moments from the show swirl around him dominates the main poster for the new season’s premiere.

The final season, part two, of Attack on Titan can be watched in it’s entirety on both Crunchyroll and Funimation.
