Another big win for Johnny Depp: James Franco has been served in the long-running court fight between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
James Franco, who was caught being intimate with Amber Heard on CCT, will face questions about an affair he had with Heard while she was still married to Depp.

Depp’s legal team have deposed 43-year-old The Disaster Artist actor, James Franco, after CCTV footage showed him getting intimate with Depp’s then-wife Amber Heard. According to a Page Six exclusive one of the question he will be asked is if he was aware of the alleged injuries on Heard’s face.
Franco will appear in court early next year to testify in Depp’s defamation lawsuit against Heard, which is seeking $50 million in damages.
His actions stem from an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018 detailing her experience as a victim of domestic violence. Depp has filed a lawsuit against Heard in Virginia, claiming she violated her constitutional rights. He believes it is obvious that she was referring to him as her abuser, despite the fact that she did not expressly mention him by name. Depp has categorically denied any wrongdoing.
The judge granted Franco deposition in the defamation suit after never-before-seen police bodycam footage revealed that Amber Heard lied about a violent altercation with Depp and staged photos with the help of her friends, which she presented as evidence in UK courts.
In response to a security footage showing Depp entering an elevator with Heard 24 hours after they had a furious dispute during which Heard claimed Depp had given her a black eye, Depp presented Franco with a subpoena. Franco was not present when Depp served Franco with the subpoena.
It is possible to observe Franco and Heard exiting the elevator with each other on the penthouse floor, which is where Depp and Heard once had an apartment.
Specifically, Depp’s legal team wants Franco to be questioned as a “witness” to ascertain whether he and Heard discussed the fight and whether Franco noticed any injuries to Heard’s face during the battle.
“I have denied Ms. Heard’s allegations vehemently since she first made them in May 2016 … when she walked into court to obtain a temporary restraining order with painted-on bruises that witnesses and surveillance footage show she did not possess each day of the preceding week. I will continue to deny them for the rest of my life. I never abused Ms. Heard or any other woman,” Depp said regarding the suit.
To defend his name and restore his reputation, Johnny Depp claimed he filed the case “not only for myself, but for the women and men who have been wounded by violence and who have been continuously lied to by Ms. Heard professing to be their spokesman,”
Franco, according to Heard’s legal team, had lived in the building at the time of the incident and they had just taken the elevator together, which was the only explanation offered. “This is a fabrication,” Depp’s lawyers stated.
It is expected that the trial will begin on April 11, 2022, and last for 12 days in Fairfax County, Virginia.
