The lawsuit, filed on May 9th, 2023, by the law firm of Gardener, Riechmann & Chow at the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, seeks payment of an outstanding balance amounting to $15,593, plus prejudgment interest at an annual rate of 10 percent dating back to May 16, 2019.

According to the legal documents, the school entered into a contract with the Federlines on August 1, 2018, wherein the couple agreed to compensate the school for the services provided to their child. However, the plaintiff alleges that the Federlines breached the agreement on May 16, 2019, by not paying for services that had been provided on credit.

Despite demands made by the school, the Federlines have allegedly refused and continue to refuse to pay the outstanding balance, causing damages to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff asserts they have fulfilled all obligations to the defendants, except those they were prevented or excused from performing. The lawsuit not only seeks the unpaid sum and accrued interest but also attorney fees as per an agreement or by statute.
