A very tanned Jennifer Aniston appeared on the cover of InStyle magazine and a very specific community are outraged, accusing the Friends’ actress of black-face, claims one NBC breaking news reporter, Janelle Griffith.
Jennifer Aniston appears on a handful of covers for InStyle magazine’s October issue but one photo in particular has drawn criticism, reports NBC journalist Janelle Griffith.
Did you know?
The alleged cover appeared on Instagram on Wednesday featuring Jennifer Aniston, dubbed as a “babe eternal,” to promote the magazine’s annual beauty issue.

“Jennifer Aniston has been a beacon of American glamour for the past 25 years, and now she’s stretching her boundaries,” the Instagram caption read. “In a series of five newsstand covers (just try to choose a favorite), she channels iconic beauty looks from the ‘60s and ‘70s.”
This NBC “reporter” decided to write up a whole story about how Jennifer Aniston being tan is basically black face!

NBC has been spam-tweeting the story almost every hour all day today trying to turn it into a “thing.” #Idiocracy https://t.co/WuhBywo53L
NBC reporter, Janelle Griffith, responsible for black-face outrage
Breaking news reporter at NBC, Janelle Griffith, claimed the image looked to be deliberately airbrushed by InStyle magazine to make Aniston more appealing to minorities. The reporter also noted that some have compared her complexion to that of Rachel Dolezal, a white woman who gained national attention in 2015 for masquerading as black while serving as a local NAACP leader.
Um…what in the Rachel Dolezal happened to Jennifer Aniston? ???? https://t.co/PUBo0bfkkK

Fortunately, it seems as though this alleged outrage is just a small Twitter crowed. Unfortunately, however, it seems as though the smallest crowds have the biggest voices and are often champion by mainstream media.
Fans stand behind Jennifer Aniston
One would need to look no further than the replies to those who are allegedly outraged and want Jennifer Aniston accused of black-face to find that the majority stand with the actress and agree that this is ridiculous.
of course of course but this photo of jennifer aniston in my opinion she’s only a little bit more darker than usual and she’s been attacked for black face????

Spray tan is now considered black face. The spiral downward into insanity continues with the political correctness buffoons. @TheRealJennifer @mam65mam66 @antman_forever #JenniferAniston #hollywood @billmaher @nbc

The truth is you will always find people who are outraged about something. The real problem here is that reporters, like Janelle Griffith, are trying to legitimise these absurd claims by giving these few unhinged fundamentalists a voice and thus bringing the story to the spotlight which ultimately will outrage more people.
Whether the image is Photoshopped or Aniston just had a spray tan that day, the masses agree, their is absolutely nothing racist about the photo. This outrage is simply manufactured.
